Year End Giving Deadlines
If you wish to make a donation to the Community Foundation in 2011, please follow these guidelines to ensure compliance with IRS guidelines for tax deductibility:
Gifts of cash must be postmarked by December 31, 2011. Credit card donations must be made by 2:00 p.m. on December 30th. You can complete the form below. (select other funds)
We suggests that all instructions for transferring stock or mutual funds be processed by 2:00 p.m. on December 22nd due to the high volume of transactions that occur at year end. To ensure the timeliness of your transaction, please contact Karen VanHouten Minogue at 845-769-9393 as soon as possible.
If you are interested in establishing a new fund or donating other assets (real estate, IRA distribution, etc.), please contact us as soon as possible.
IMPORTANT: You must select one fund from the dropdown menu beneath the donation type and then click on the "Donate" button directly below the selection. You will then be routed to Paypal where you will input your donation amount and your contact information.
